US Tariff Announcement

Great news for all my US customers! 
I’m so excited to share this update to all my amazing American friends! We’ve officially found a US distributor/fulfillment centre for planner pre-orders! 

That means all 2026 PLANNER PRE-ORDERS from the US will now be shipped domestically—no international delays at the border, and most importantly: no tariffs!

This is a huge step forward, and honestly, a big weight off my shoulders. I’ve had serious doubts about the future of Faded Chronicle in the past few weeks, and this breakthrough gives me so much hope. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to continue this journey with all of you—especially to you who have placed your orders with me and supported me every step of the way. We can't carry on this project without you!

Here are some important notes to clarify:

This update only applies to US PLANNER PRE-ORDERS.
Canadian and international orders are still being processed and shipped from Canada—so nothing changes for my Canadian and international friends!
  1. If you placed your planner pre-order before August 28th (pre-tariff):
    Your order is safe—no tariffs will be charged on delivery, and your planner will be shipped from our new US distribution centre.
  2. If you placed your planner pre-order after August 28th (post-tariff):
    We’ve got you covered! When your order is processed and a label is created at our US fulfillment center, we’ll automatically refund the tariff you paid at checkout.
  3. If you place your order after the pre-order ends?

We will send more than enough planners to our US distribution centre. However, if and when that supply runs out any orders will be filled from our supply in Canada (tariff will be charged). So act fast!

  1. What about stickers, subscriptions and non-planner items?

We’ll be using Chit Chat, a third party shipping company here in Canada to ship all US bound packages with a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) service, which means there will be no surprise charge on your end when you receive your package. However, as a small business, we cannot absorb 100% of the duty so you will find our shipping rate has gone up to cover partial of the tariff. And us, Faded Chronicle will cover the rest!
