William McGregor Paxton
(June 22, 1869 – 1941) was an American painter and instructor who embraced the Boston School paradigm and was a co-founder of The Guild of Boston Artists.
I am in love with his paintings because the softness they present in each stroke. Some painters are good painting with strong and powerful strokes with high contrast colours, like Vincent Van Gogh. But William presents a touch of softness in his paintings with using bright colours to emphasize the main characters, and somehow they are perfect to the dark blurry backgrounds.
